Our Centres

Although each Park Academy centre is unique, they are all Centres of Excellence, designed from the bottom up, and built and managed to ensure rich, stimulating, enjoyable and educational experiences for your child in an environment that is absolutely safe.

The advantage of starting each centre from scratch is obvious - each is built with the gradual development of children from 4 months old to school age in mind.

In line with our approach - informed by the most respected early childhood educational theories, and following guidelines established by the National Childrens Nurseries Association - all the centres share many elements in common. Each centre has rooms designed for specific age groups:

• Bunnies (0-1 year)
• Jelly Tots (1-2 years)
• Rascals (2-3 years)
• Smarties (Montessori, 3+ years)

Each of these rooms is divided into "interest areas" designed to be stimulating, educational and fun, including:

• A Home Corner - offering comforting objects from home
• A Construction Corner - for building exploration and play
• An Art Corner - a haven of self-expression
• A 'Cosy Corner' - for quiet relaxation
• A Diversity Area - where different cultures are celebrated
• A Dress-up Area - for fun role-playing with costumes, wigs and masks
• A Treasure Box - filled with stimulating textures and colours to explore
• Child-sized dining area - for delicious, nutritious meals

Of course, each centre also has its own unique character, and offers something that little bit different. For example, Edengate has a stunning mirrored dance studio, built at the edge of its lovely garden; our Bray centre features the "Sticky Fingers" childrens' cookery room; Cherrywood has an extensive lawn for outdoor sports play; Cabinteely is adjacent to the wonderful Cabinteely Park, and Beacon Court's "Rompus Room" is a fabulous place for children to raise a ruckus.

To take advantage of all this diversity, we offer exciting bus trips each week for children to visit the other centres, meet new people, and explore new environments.
