If you’re happy and you know it...

A unique feature of our childcare centres is the bright Park Academy ‘Party Bus.’

This lively vehicle makes it possible for children to visit one of our other centres each week. These visits are important socialisation opportunities, with children travelling together (with our friendly supervision, of course) and visiting other children in other centres.

As each centre has its own character and special features, these visits also provide stimulating new environments for the children to explore.

The bus also allows us to make occasional day trips to the Zoo, Imaginosity – the interactive children’s museum, etc. It is also an important feature of our After School Clubs, enabling off-site developmental activities such as music, swimming, arts and crafts and Boy Scouts and Girl Guides.

But what really makes these visits special is our driver Tim. His love of children is evident from the moment they step into his tiny realm. A highly qualified driver with an impeccable record, Tim doesn’t merely transport the children, he transforms them … from quiet, nervous passengers into happy travellers – singing and laughing all the way to their destination.

It’s no accident that a favourite bus ride song is ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It.’ On the Park Academy Bus the children are always happy. And they know it!
