We’ve designed a completely new experience for you, the parent, so it’s easier to learn more about our childcare centres, our team, our story, and our holistic emergent learning philosophy, whether you’re at home or on the go.
Park Academy Childcare is Ireland’s longest-running dedicated childcare service. We opened Ireland’s first purpose-built creche in Cabinteely in 1995 and from there have developed an award-winning, pioneering learning experience for young children spanning South Dublin and North Wicklow.
Park Academy Childcare’s service is award-winning and pioneering because we recognise that no child learns in the same way. That’s why our educational philosophy of emergent learning is play based and child led, focused on the child discovering their innate interests and individual self.
A healthy diet and a positive attitude to nutrition, as well as an appreciation for the great outdoors, are crucial components of emergent learning. All Park Academy Childcare meals are prepared by a specially trained chef, and many of our learning sessions take place outdoors in gardens, sand pits, and at the Nature Kindergarten.
At its core, emergent learning is about ensuring that every child at Park Academy Childcare graduates to primary school with self-belief, happiness, a can-do attitude, and a lifelong love of learning.
